J.J. Neufeld, lighting designer
J.J. Neufeld is a Saskatoon based artist/lighting designer who has been adding a colourful glow to indoor and outdoor events across Western Canada for the past decade. J.J. seeks to use various leading edge technologies working in symphony to create organic, mystical and playful spaces, and is excited to improvise live with KSAMB Dance Company, using a lighting created for this installation and adding another dimension of animation to the varied and suggestive space of Saskatoon City Hall Square.
His work can be seen now at Shakespeare On the Saskatchewan, and Nutrien Wintershines. His previous works have been seen in Saskatchewan music and art festivals such as Nuit Blanche, The Ness Creek Music Festival, Bass in the Bush, Lugo, and Electric Sky. He has also created on-stage moods for hundreds of local and national touring musicians.
J.J. is also the founder of Dr. Isocellator’s Illumin-o-tronic Environment Enhancement Services Inc, who have become known for their world-class laser shows.
