Pumphouse Groove, May 20-22, 2022
A weekend of scored ensemble improvisation performances developing KSAMB’s creative relationship with two free jazz musicians, Lloyd Tomczak (bass) and Gregory Edmunds (saxophone, flute, and clarinet)—inside the historic Pumphouse at River Landing. These will be relaxed, open-door performances, in the round, using the existing architecture. The history of the site, a relic of the era of coal-fired electricity, resonates with our program of post-capitalist joy, as we envision new life in the ruins of capitalism.

3 shows, 8 pm May 20 and 21, and 3 pm May 22. By donation.
KSAMB Dance Company with musicians Lloyd Tomczak and Gregory Edmunds. Live movement and jazz improvisation, the fruit of our Dance Saskatchewan sponsored winter collaboration.
