Louise Seidel — director and performer
Picture
Louise has lived with MS for about 30 years.  Inspired by the work of several Crip art groups she is currently exploring her art with a focus on her disability instead of despite it. Her love of physical performance is evident in her work as a director encouraging actors to fully explore character through their bodies. She has a Theatre Studies Diploma in performance from Red Deer College and a B. Ed. in drama. She Louise has taught drama for a variety of groups including Persephone Theatre School and University of Saskatchewan’s Indigenous Teacher Education Program. Her directing experience includes Iskotew with GTNT’s Circle of Voices;  The Shape of a Girl for OSAC, The Ambassador with Theatre Inconnu in Victoria, and My Name Is Rachel Corrie in Regina (with On Cue) and Saskatoon (at Studio 914.)
