KSAMB Dance Company. We are an unincorporated not-for-profit, and our dancers work, mostly, as volunteers. Kyle Syverson and Miki Mappin are co-directors, and dancers in the company. We collect donations for classes and events, and apply for grants and performance opportunities, and pay expenses and share artists' fees where possible.
The company is a loose association of dancers who train and perform with KSAMB, and varies with the seasons, shows and projects. In spring, 2022, the corps, those who are training together regularly are:
Laura Harris. Our principal dancer, having performed in more KSAMB shows than any other, except for Kyle and Miki.
Karla Kloeble. An independent dance artist with a long association with KSAMB.
Annika Lessing. A movement practitioner who has featured in many of our performances.
Haleh Mir Miri. A strong dancer, trained in Iran, and an academic. An important influence in the company the past year.
Lauren Scruton. A movement practitioner and educator. New to the company.
