A performance in three parts- Chaos, Ritual and Celebration. Featuring KSAMB dancers, musicians WL Altman, Lloyd Tomczak, Laurent Boucher, Helen Pridmore, Zoe Harris, and poet Isaac Bond.
August 16-18, Brave Choices. Questioning Contact Improvisation—an open-level movement workshop with classes, explorations, and jams with live music. Led by Kyle, Miki, and guest instructor Anthony Ross.
Schedule:
Fri. Aug.16: 6-9pm, pre-jam class, jam.
Sat. Aug.17: 10-5pm, class and labs. 8-10pm, CI jam with musicians Helen Pridmore, WL Altman, and Tiess McKenzie.
Sun. Aug.18: 9:30-4pm, class, outdoor Underscore, lab/closing score.
August 19-27, Carte Blanche Residency
Morning movement classes began with a 45 minute somatic warmup followed by a 1 hour dance class. Afternoon and evening classes, screenings and jams were free and open to the public.
SAGE Clan Patrol, SURJ, and other local change-makers were invited to collaborate and use the space.
